Stick The Face On The Pumpkin is our Halloween version
of Pin The Tail On The Donkey - buy or draw a large pumpkin
then cut out the face shapes from black paper and put a
little double stick tape on the back. The kids love seeing
what crazy faces they create. Another variation is Stick The
Wart On The Witch's Nose - buy or draw a witch's face (make
sure there's a large nose) and then the kids use
a bit of wall tac for the wart.

free downloads for the game pieces.

for your own party too.

Need some more Halloween game ideas?
Bobbing for apples is a classic and rightly so,
no one ever seems to tire of it!
Instead of passing an orange from under your
chin try a passing-the-mini-pumpkin relay.
A costume contest is a natural; create different
categories so everyone can be a winner.
Try a Giant Spider Web relay! Wrap yarn all around
your game area using a different color for each team.
Working as a team, see who can get to the end of their
web first! The more wrapped and wound the harder it
is and more fun too. This is a great game for different
ages since you can adjust how and where you wrap
the yarn with the various skill levels.
I always like dress-up relays too! Get some old jeans,
plaid flannel shirt, belt, boots, and a large
sun hat for a scarecrow version.
Please feel free to leave any other ideas in the
comments. Tomorrow is the last day of my Halloween
Party series and it's all sweets and treats!
