Crafting With My Silhouette: Owl Tote!

 
One of the things I am most taken with on the Silhouette
is doing heat transfers. I haven't really done this before
and the Silhouette makes it super easy. I picked up
several of these plain cotton totes at Michael's for the
great price of a dollar each.

The transfer is simple - pick your
image, size it and send it to the
Silhouette to be cut out. Peel off
the negative space, then place it
on your project. It's supposed to
take less than a minute to iron the
transfer on to your project but for
some reason this one took like five
minutes. Another one I did took
the appropriate time so I'm not
sure what was up with this one.

Anyway, I'm very happy with the way it came

out and how easy and fast it was to make. The
heat transfer material comes in lots of different colors, I'm thinking I'd like to try brown and teal on some other projects. (And so it begins...)
