There's a new issue of Nuno out and the theme this
time around is Painted Desert! The creators, sisters
Elizabeth and Rachel, have put together 116 ad-free
pages that are full of unique crafts and inspiration
from the beautiful American Southwest.
Although geared towards adults, there are many projects
that are doable by kids with and without a grown-up's
help. I love that almost all of the crafts use recycled
materials or materials repurposed from the thrift store.
This beautiful leather mouse pad immediately caught my
eye - someone will be making this for a solstice gift this
year! You'll find several other projects that would
make great gifts as well.
Other favorites are these matchbox dioramas and
box mats - perfect for framing some American
Southwest inspired artwork!
I don't want to give it all away but you can see
more in a preview and get some behind-the-scenes
info on the Nuno Magazine blog.
I have loved all the issues of Nuno and have decided
to become an affiliate so if you make a purchase I will
receive a percent of the purchase price. The links
in this post are affiliate links along
with the button in my sidebar.
