This heart art lesson at Dali's Moustache is done with Kindergarteners, but the unstructured nature of it makes it a great project for families or groups of different aged kids. I especially love the use of neon tempera!
Alisa Burke shares how she made these beautiful hearts with only paper and pen and a few dimensional paint details. Let older kids stretch their drawing muscles after being inspired by these lovely hearts.
This art project at Artchoo uses bleeding tissue paper and oil pastels. Bleeding tissue paper is different from regular tissue paper in that the colors "bleed" out of it when it gets wet. The tissue can then be removed and the beautiful colors are left behind. I love combining it with oil pastels for some Valentine resist art work.
