Not too long ago the nice people at Elmer's
sent me a Craft it! Kit full of tools and glues to try
out and now two readers are going to get a
chance to win one too!
The kit includes:
9" x 12" Mini Bi-Fold Foam Board, X-ACTO Designer Series Gripster
Craft Knife, X-ACTO Designer Series 12" Metal Ruler (not pictured),
X-ACTO Designer Series 12" x 12" Self Healing Mat, X-ACTO Designer
Series 8" Scissors, X-ACTO Designer Series 5" Precision Tip Scissors,
X-ACTO Designer Series Basic Shape Templates, X-ACTO Designer
Series Decorative Shape Templates, Painters Bright Colors, Painters
Sherbert Swirl, Craftbond Dot Runner, Craftbond Thin Medium Glue
Spots, Craftbond All Purpose Glue Stick, Craftbond Quick Dry Dual
Tip Glue Pen, and six rolls of Elmer's Designer Tape.
I really enjoyed using the Dot Runner. I used to do a
lot of scrapbooking and was familiar with tape runners
but they always seemed to get wonky after awhile so
they ended up being more frustrating than they were
worth. This cool little tool rolls so smoothly and leaves
behind a line of little tiny dots of adhesive that have
a lot of holding power. Very quick and clean, I think
it's going to be my new go-to glue!
I used some of the tools to make these cute flower fans
from recycled cardboard that are perfect to cool you
off on a hot summer day! They would also make a
great party favor or craft, or the kids could make up
a bunch to sell at a lemonade stand.
