Halloween Party: Crafts!

Adorable googly eye frame at Secret Agent Josephine! Take pictures of the kids at the party, print them out, slip into their frames and send them home with the perfect keepsake :)

I made these paper bag pumpkins a few years ago - just stuff a paper bag with old newspaper, tie it up with green curly ribbon and sheer orange ribbon and draw the faces on with black marker!

Spiders made from egg cartons and chenille stems are great for the younger kids - get the details at Ramblings of A Crazy Woman :)

Dim Sum, Bagels and Crawfish shares this wonderful way to recycle an empty oatmeal container - make it into a jack-o-lantern!

Don't forget how much kids love homemade play dough! Just color it in Halloween colors and watch the creepy creatures take shape. Use salt dough if you'd like them to be permanent. This great idea is from Carli and The Clan and she suggests packaging this up for treat bag favors :)

Incorporate a little Day of the Dead into your Halloween party with this decorated skull mask! Cut out a simple skull shape from tag board, make eye holes, then let the kids decorate with markers and metallic shreds. Glue on a popsicle stick or staple on string/elastic and you've got a great mask for celebrating! (No link, this is something we did several years ago.)
