Kids' Ornament Swap: Update

Everyone should have received their swap
partner list by now. If you received a
confirmation email but have not received
your swap partners please email us right
away. Ornaments should be sent out before
or on Monday, December 14th. We have a
Kids' Ornament Swap Flickr Group for you to
upload pictures of your ornaments and you
can also put them in The Crafty Crow Flickr
Group if you'd like.

Kids' Ornament Swap: Update

Everyone who signed up for the ornament swap should have received their confirmation email. Be sure to check your spam folders if you haven't received yours. If you don't have a confirmation email and you signed up for the swap please email me right away. The swap partner addresses will start going out in the next couple of days.

Kids' Ornament Swap: Update

We are in the process of sending out confirmation emails to everyone who signed up. Even if you signed up late you are included in the swap. Around the middle of next week you will start receiving your swap partners. You will be making five ornaments and receiving five ornaments. I will post another update after we have sent all the confirmations.

2nd Annual Kids' Ornament Swap: Sign Up Now!!

Welcome to our 2nd Annual Kids'
Ornament Swap! The theme this year is
Fairy Tales! You will be signing up as a family,
and as a family you will receive the same
number of ornaments that you send,
approximately 4 to 6 depending on the
final number of participants. 

Please read - this is important!

Sign up from the email account that you
want to receive the swap information!

In your email include:

• your first and last name
• your shipping address
• if you have one - your blog url
• ages of your children that are participating

Sign-ups will close at midnight P.S.T on
Tuesday November 17th, or when we reach
150 participants, so sign up quickly to
guarantee a spot!

This swap is limited to the United States only.

With respect to everyone's practices
and faith of this season we have chosen
the theme: Fairy Tales! Inspiration for
ornaments include: gnomes, kings and
queens, castles, enchanted forests, fairies,
unicorns, knights, princesses, dragons,
mermaids, etc. Please refrain from
any Disney look-a-likes.

Ornaments have to be mailed on,
or before, Monday, December 7th!

Please do not sign up if you won't be
able to complete the swap - no one wants
any disappointed kids!  If unforeseeable
circumstances keep you from participating
please email us immediately so we can
remedy the situation.

2nd Annual Kids' Ornament Swap & Posting Apology

I apologize for the sparse and sporadic posting so far this week. I have been having internet and computer problems - as soon as one is solved then something new happens. I promise to be back posting regularly as soon as possible and appreciate you bearing with me.

Hopefully, later this week, I will be able to make a post about our second annual Kids' Ornament Swap! I've had lots of inquiries and I'm excited to share the details with you :) It will run very much like last year's swap but we have a new theme and a few other changes, so please keep checking in to get your spot!

All the names and addresses have been sent out for the Kids Ornament Swap.  If you haven't received yours then please contact us.  Ornaments are to be mailed out on December 8th and the theme is Winter Wonderland.  I'll be featuring some ornament ideas over the next week if you need some help :)

Kids Ornament Swap News & Button

The Kids Ornament Swap sign-ups are now closed so let the ornament making begin!  Participants are asked to make 7 ornaments that go along with the Winter Wonderland theme.  We have about 120 families signed up and have begun dividing the participants into groups.  We hope to email everyone the names of the eight families in your group at the end of this week.

Kids Ornament Swap!

The Crafty Crow and Full Circle (we're sisters, did you know?) are putting together a kids ornament swap and you and your little (or big) ones are invited to participate!  Everyone loves ornaments and creating them with your kids is even more fun :)

The Details:

    * Sign up here. In your email include your first and last name, your shipping address, and your blog address if you have one. Sign ups will close at midnight PST on Sunday November 16th.  We reserve the right to close the swap early if we get more participants than we think we can handle so sign up quickly to guarantee a spot!

    * You and your kids will make 5 - 8 of the same ornament and receive the same amount back. (Final amount will depend on number of participants).

    * Sorry, we are limiting this swap to the United States only this time around.

    * With respect to everyone's practices and faith of this season we have chosen a neutral theme: Winter Wonderland! Inspiration for ornaments include: trees, snowmen, mittens, pine cones, birds, deer, ice skating, squirrels, rabbits, snowflakes, berries, leaves, the moon, stars, icicles, etc.  Basically anything having to do with winter
and nature :)

    * Ornaments have to be mailed on or before Monday, December 8th!
